What you will learn:

  • User profile administration
  • Word processing software

Duration: 26 weeks.
Hours: 15 hours per week, usually 2.5 days per week.
Qualifications: City & Guilds Advanced Diploma for IT Professionals Level 3, Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS)* *Requires 85% course attendance or an exam fee will apply. 

Please note that candidates who enrol on this course must possess the City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma for IT Practitioners Full Qualification. Candidates who do not possess the full City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma for IT Practitioners qualification will need to complete two further assignments in addition to the four level 3 assignments listed above in order to successfully achieve the Full Level 3 Advanced Diploma for IT Professionals.

You will be taught by professional tutors who are all technology experts with current industry practice, and receive industry advice from our technology affiliates such as Moody's and Google.  You will also have the opportunity to work in our own IT Support department for a placement of up to 6 months where you will support local charities and other organisations with their IT maintenance needs, giving you invaluable hands-on experience as you enter the job market.
